The trailer of the game released recently focused specifically on Black and showed that, just like in the comics, he is a human from Earthrealm who has unique skills with the gun. In addition to him, Jax along with Shinnok and Cassie Cage in alternate costumes were revealed. The screenshots showed that Black would just be one of the new characters arriving. His arrival was hinted at earlier in the month when screenshots of the game from Xbox One was taken and posted online.
